![]() Howard Romack is a biologist who works with the New York State Museum, University of Florida, and Michigan State University. A retired science teacher from Cambridge, he continues educating through outdoor programs at several area schools for both students and teachers. |
"Peru" Gateway to Amazonia with Howard Romack Tropical rainforests cover just 6% of the Earth’s land surface, yet may contain half of our Planet’s plants and animals. This free program will feature Howard Romack who will discuss topography, tropical flora and fauna, and work done by biologists in the Madre de Dios region bordering Bolivia. Also present will be live animals to demonstrate unusual adaptations for survival in such hostile environments. |
